Good vs. Great SOCIAL MEDIA

Let me start off by defining the difference between GOOD vs. GREAT according to dictionary.com:

GOOD: satisfactory in quality, quantity, or degree
GREAT: being such in an extreme or notable degree

Now that we have the simple definitions thanks to dictionary.com, what is the difference between GOOD vs. GREAT Social Media?

Here is where I know we can have a large variation of opinions based on several different factors depending on several different circumstances.  Is the comparison being examined based on personal use, business practicality, research, marketing & advertising, etc. Does GOOD vs. GREAT even matter with each of these different circumstances?  Take a minute and reflect whether or not each of these circumstances influence you in different ways.....Are you still thinking like I am?....it's a lot to take in.
Here is the fundamental truth in my opinion...each one of the situational circumstances do influence us in different ways.  Why?  How?  When?  Those are the questions you might be thinking about.

WHY: they influence us in different ways because we are thinkers, socialites, students, teachers, consumers, prosumers, business workers or business owners and the peer fact that each operate in multiple capacities each day they influence us in different ways.
HOW: we are influenced driving in the car when you look over to the ruby red BMW next to you and you see the cliché person paying more attention to their cell phone then the road (probably tweeting, "OMG this traffic is not moving" but in reality it is but they aren't because they are too busy with Social Media).  We are influenced at work, when we turn on the TV, as we look at our computers to cell phones to tablets.  Let's not forget all the different options we have out there for different Social Media sites...I am not going to begin start naming them all because that would require too much time.

WHEN: as we move day to day think about how often we use Social Media.  Watch this video and see how often it is used.

So this brings me back to the original question what is the difference between GOOD vs. GREAT Social Media?  I would like to receive comments to see your thoughts and opinions....why?  Because it will bring out the differences of the WHY, HOW, and WHEN.

.....now I am waiting on you :)
